The Heart Behind the Mission Rock the Pink Today Foundation Inc. was founded from a place of love, loss, faith, and an unbreakable promise to honor the life and legacy of my sister, Toya A. Robinson, who passed away at the age of 35 from metastatic breast cancer, leaving behind her four beloved children. Toya was proactive about her health and attended her regular medical checkups. However, after suffering an injury to her breast and experiencing unusual discharge that would not stop, she sought medical attention and received the heartbreaking diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer. By the time the cancer was discovered, it had already spread throughout her body, resulting in multiple brain surgeries and an unimaginable battle marked by both pain and extraordinary strength. Despite the challenges she faced, Toya remained deeply devoted to her children and family. She often expressed that everything she endured was for the people she loved most. Through every difficult moment, she never lost her light. Toya was known for her infectious smile, joyful spirit, sense of humor, and love for life, family, and travel. Even in the midst of adversity, she continued to inspire those around her with courage, resilience, and grace. When Toya was no longer able to fulfill the dreams she carried for herself and her family, I made the decision to continue her legacy through service, advocacy, and community impact. Rock the Pink Today Foundation Inc. was created to support women, especially single mothers, who are navigating the emotional, physical, and financial challenges of breast cancer and often feel alone in their journey. We understand that this journey can be overwhelming, frightening, and isolating. That is why our foundation exists to uplift, encourage, educate, and walk alongside individuals and families with compassion, faith, hope, and purpose. We are committed to empowering survivors, fighters, caregivers, and communities through advocacy, mentorship, educational workshops, outreach initiatives, volunteer engagement, and supportive resources that foster healing and resilience. Rock the Pink Today Foundation Inc. is more than a nonprofit organization. It is a movement rooted in love, legacy, awareness, and action. Our mission is to ensure that no one affected by breast cancer feels unseen or unsupported while advancing efforts to raise awareness, inspire hope, and contribute to the ongoing fight to help find a cure for all forms and stages of breast cancer.
